Inside Ditan Park boasts over 200 ginkgo trees that were planted in the late 1950s. During late autumn every year, the golden leaves of these trees fall and cover the ground, creating a joyful atmosphere for visitors strolling down the avenues there joyful.

The Jinhai Lake Scenic Area is renowned for its abundant variety of trees with colorful leaves, including over ten species such as Cotinus coggygria (smoke trees), Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple' (purple-leaved smoke trees), and Sophora japonica 'Winter Gold' (golden-leaved Chinese scholar trees).

Badaling National Forest Park boasts over 50,000 colorful trees, including smoke trees and Shandong maple trees. Owing to its elevated altitude and substantial temperature fluctuations between day and night, a vast expanse of leaves have turned red on October 8 and will last until October 30, rendering this time frame perfect for sightseeing.
